A chiasm is a literary structure where the words or themes of the first section of a passage are repeated in reverse order in the second. The center of the chiasm is typically the climax of the In Matthew 9:32-34, the center is the comparison between what the crowds were saying and what the Pharisees were saying (Matt 9:33b-34a).
