How did Jesus regard children? Did he believe that they could believe and be saved? All the evidence from the gospels indicates that Jesus believed that young children could believe. In Matthew 11:25-26 Jesus states that God hides truth from the wise and intelligent but reveals it to infants. In Matt 18:1-10 Jesus states that unless adults are converted like children are converted, they will not enter the kingdom of God. In Matthew 19:13-15 Jesus rebukes his disciples for hindering children from coming to him.
