In 1 Corinthians 15:1-7 Paul makes it very clear that the gospel (1 Cor 15:1) is not simply that ” Christ died for our sins” (1 Cor 15:3) but “that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day” (1 Cor 15:4) and appeared to hundreds (1 Cor 15:5-8).
