The Chiasm of Daniel 9:25-27: The Story of One Messiah and Two Princes
A chiasm is a literary structure where the words or themes of the first section of a passage are repeated in reverse order in the second. Typically whatever is in the center of the chiasm is what is being emphasized. In Daniel 9:25-27, the emphasis is on the seven and sixty-two weeks which will date the coming of the Messiah (Dan 9:25e-26a).
