The Chiasm of John 5:19
A chiasm is a literary structure where themes of the first section of a passage are repeated in the second. The center of the chiasm is typically the climax of the passage. In John 5:19 the center and climax is that what God the Father does serves as the exact model for what God the Son does (John 5:19).
