The Chiasm of Luke 23:54-56
A chiasm is a literary structure where vocabulary of the first section of a passage is repeatedin the second. The center of the chiasm is typically the climax of the passage. In Luke 23:54-56 the center is the women who had followed him out of Galilee follow him to his tomb (Luke 23:55).
