A chiasm is a literary structure where vocabulary of the first section of a passage isrepeated in reverse order in the second. The center of the chiasm is typically the climax of the passage. In Mark 13:35-37 the center is “at midnight,or when the rooster crows” indicating a random time (Mark 13:35-37).
