A chiasm is a literary structure where the words or themes of the first section of a passage are repeated in reverse order in the second. The center of the chiasm is typically the climax of the passage. In Matthew 6:32-33, the center is “seek first His kingdom and His righteousness” (Matt 6:33a-b).
