The Chiasm of Matthew 15:1-20
A chiasm is a literary structure where the words of the first section of a passage are repeated in the second. The center of the chiasm is typically the climax of the passage. In Matthew 15:1-20, the center is Jesus saying that a blind guide leading blind person will result in both falling into a pit (Matt 15:14).
