A chiasm is a literary structure where the words of the first section of a passage are repeated in reverse order in the second. The center of the chiasm is typically the climax of the passage. In Matthew 19:16-29. The climax is Jesus indicating how hard it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven (Matt 1923-24).
