The Chiasm of Matthew 5:17
A chiasm is a literary structure where the words of the first section of a passage are repeated in the second. The center of the chiasm is typically the climax of the passage. The center of Matthew 5:17 is that Jesus did not come to abolish the Old Testament Law and Prophets.
