The Chiasm of Matthew 6:1-4
A chiasm is a literary structure where the words of the first section of a passage are repeated in reverse order in the second. The center of the chiasm is typically the climax of the passage. In Matt 6:1-4, the center is that those who give to the poor to be seen of men have their full reward (Matt 6:2v).
