A chiasm is a literary structure where the words or themes of the first section of a passage are repeated in reverse order in the second. The center of the chiasm is typically the climax of the passage. In Matthew 9:26-31, the climax is the healing of the two blind men “according to their faith” (Matt 9:26-31).
